Ethion considers data protection and privacy to be of paramount importance. We will never sell personal data and we carry out all processing operations in strict compliance and regulations. You may deactivate your Ethion account and/or unsubscribe from receiving content or offers from us at any time. Following termination of your account, we may retain your personal data for a period of 90 calender days after which it would be deleted permanently. When you visit our site we store the name of your internet service provider, the website from which you visited us from, the parts of our site you visit, the date and duration of your visit, and information from the device (device type, operating system, screen resolution, language, country you are located in, and web browser type) you used during your visit. We process such usage data in an anonymized form for statistical purposes and to improve our site. We may occasionally send you notification emails about updates to our product, legal documents, offer customer support or marketing emails. Trovilo follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

1) this allows us automatically retrieve One-Time-Passwords for instant verifications

1) we use location to identify and locate users within a certain region registered on the platform
2) location is recorded during registration and on every login to the app
3) it allows us provide security on user accounts and provide login location notifications to account owners
contacts
1) Trovilo needs access to your contacts to be able to find and suggest friends and family that are using the Trovilo app. Synced contacts are uploaded to our servers to match you with family and friends, they are also used to facilitate money transfers to friends and family. Once syncing is done, your phonebook is automatically removed from our database.
financial information
1) Trovilo collects your financial information including debit/credit card information and banking information for payment of products/services within the app or website.
device information
1) it allows us identify the kind of device used during registration or login
SIM data
1) it allows us identify current user's phone number and network information
2) we use SIM data to provide security and prevent fraud on the platform
camera/image upload (For Identity Document Upload only)
1) it enables account owners upload their identity documents for verification
2) we use this feature for face and identity document validation/match
We collect these information through your device operating system, by requesting your express consent to your device’s
permissions on the App or website. The collection of this information may take place in the background even when you aren’t using our service,
if the permission you gave us expressly permits such collection.
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. Trovilo does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
This privacy policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website and app with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Trovilo. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.
